What is OverDrive? The audio files are downloaded in a proprietary file format (ODM) which requires a special Windows Media Player plugin (OverDrive Media Console) to be installed. You can download an audio ebook to your PC, or laptop, and then transfer
it to a portable device (MP3 player), or burn it to CD (depending on
the digital rights associated with each title). The You may checkout a maximum of 5 titles. The audio selection is automatically returned (un-accessible on the PC) at the end of the 10 day loan period. There is no listening time loan limit on Audio eBooks transferd to an MP3 player or CD. Once the eBook is transferred from the PC, the selection can be accessed indefinitely. OverDrive Application User instructions are available here in PDF format. A Guided video tour is available to walk you through the use of this resource. The OverDrive Media Console video tour explains how to use the audio listening program.
