| Arts & Crafts
is located in Building 722 on 2nd St. The center
is open to active and retired military, their
families and Dover Air Force Base civilian employees
and their families. The complex houses the frame
shop, the Arts & Craft nook for pottery and
special art classes and the Custom Corner which
specializes in engraving, trophies, plaques and
Dover AFB memorabilia. Children under 14 years
of age are not permitted in the Skills Center,
unless attending an organized youth class or with
a visiting group.

At Your Service
You can have our trained staff do the work for you.
Our services include custom framing, litho/photo/art
printing, plaques, engraving, vinyl graphics, ceramic
firing, and silk screening. |

Custom Corner
Custom Corner provides heat transfer and silk-screened
items such as T-shirts, hats, trophies, plaques
and mugs.
Plaques and awards are custom made for your quarterly
presentations, retirements, special achievements,
sports competitions, gag gifts and more. Choose
from a generous selection of wood, laminate and
marbleized plaques. Special orders can be arranged.
In addition to customized engraving, we have a
heat sublimation process that allows your artwork,
squadron patches or photographs to be printed
directly on mugs, T-shirt, tiles or metal. We
also do screen-printing for sports and achievement
trophies, flag boxes, and wing coins. Our new
newest service is custom vinyl graphics for cars,
signs, banners, windows. Choose from instock designs
or let us help you create one.

Frame Shop
The Center offers custom framing, matting and
an opportunity to "do-it-yourself" and
save! The well-equipped shop features a complete
line of mat board, glass (standard and non-glare),
picture hanging hardware, tools and a wide assortment
of picture frame moldings.
The frame shop has a professional staff to assist
in custom framing with a full line of mats and
custom frames for the self-framer. Specialty items
and frames can be ordered. |

Classes
Classes are offered monthly in framing, arts,
crafts and stained glass. Information on classes
and fees are available at the facility and are
advertised in the base paper, the Airlifter and
the At Your Leisure magazine.
Arts & Crafts offers classes continuously,
based on demand.
